Transportation Services

Our fleet operates principally in the Province of Saskatchewan, if requested we will go to the neighboring provinces (Manitoba & Alberta) with special permits.  Our fleet includes:

  • 40-53‘ Trailers
  • Refrigerated  5-Ton Van 53′
  • Chassis: Capable of 20′, 40’ & 53’ container moves

Local Cartage Service: Dry van and temperature control.

Intermodal Transportation: Door to door domestic and international service.

Spotting Services/Yard Management: Dedicated spotting and yard management services for customers needing to improve the efficiency of their facility yard operations.

Dedicated Fleet Operations: Great West Distribution offers dedicated fleet services for customers who would benefit from such an operation or who have decided to divest themselves of existing private fleets.

Load Consolidations: At the request of our clients we will arrange load consolidations. The benefits are the cost efficiencies that the client receives.

Modes of Transportation: We presently load and unload local and OTR Trucks and Containers, full provincial semi tractor trailer service available, minor local Transport is done with our 5-Ton, and we also have a fully serviced rail spur where we load and unload boxcars.

Container Work: We handle loading and unloading containers up to 53 feet.  Transportation is also available through our drayage service.

3 Ton Service: We provide reliable pick-up and drop- off services for all customers located within city limits.

53′ Dry Van Service: We provide full loading and unloading services, with pickup and drop off available at any location across the province.

Drayage Service: We offer 20-, 40-and 53-foot container handling within both city limits and throughout the province.  For added convenience, we provide 24-hour dispatch.
